What’s your experience?

I have been behind the chair as a color expert and educator since 2013. In the last decade I have had the incredible honor to work with and learn from some of the most talented stylists in the industry, both in the salon and behind the scenes at runway shows, photo shoots and more.

What’s your specialty?

I’ve really grown to appreciate low maintenance, naturally beautiful hair. I love the idea that my clients get to spend more time feeling confident between appointments instead of worrying about getting back into the salon right away.

Why do you love what you do?

There is no better feeling than getting to spend every single day laughing and learning. I love the conversations and ideas that I trade with my guests while I get to help them create a look that makes them feel their best.

How do you express yourself?

Loudly. I am a firm believer that life is far too short to do anything without your whole heart so I love to express a part of myself in everything that I do. 

How do you get out of a creative rut?

Learn something new!

Where do you go in the Twin Cities to be inspired?

Away from it. If you need me, I’ll be somewhere that has more trees than power lines.

What do you do for self-care?

Movement! I love being active whether it’s in the gym or on the trails and nothing grounds me quite like reconnecting with my body through fitness. 

Piece of advice for those struggling with self-confidence?

Give yourself the same grace and kindness that you give others.
